Hello Melanie Paul,
I just found this forum. I'm so glad it's here. So our PTA communicates with the community at least once a week. Actually, it starts with a monthly update. Our title is "Looking Back at (month) and Moving Forward (month)", The Looking back, thanks everyone that helped with our activities and the moving forward list the upcoming events for the month. Each week is a reminder.
We also include any information from our district including school delays, closings, or special notices from the superintendent.
This can be done by anyone who has been assigned admin console (vp, sect, treasurer). I don't have a corresponding secretary. Hope this helps.

Highview PTA - Thanks for sharing!
That's a great tip you provided about the subject and content of each newsletter, looking back at the achievements of the past month, but also including the upcoming events and such for the next month.
Anyone else care to chime in on this subject that does something similar?
