Hi Nissa. Last night we added a column to the people export for PTA Membership Type. So now you have a a couple of options:

To see a list of PTA members and member types you can export transactions in the Money tab – Transactions page which can be filtered/sorted on purchase to include dues and sorted by item description to indicate member type.

You can also export people in the People tab and then filter/sort on the PTA Membership Type column.

Custom fields do show up on the people export.

Hey Susan. Thanks for the message and I understand your concern. You can go into your People Tab and Select PTA members and then select all and then print your list as one option. You can also go into the Money Tab, select export transactions and an excel file will be emailed to you with all your members, member types and more in which you can sort through. I hope this helps.

    Thanks

MemberHub: "You can go into your People Tab and Select PTA members and then select all and then print your list as one option," but this printed list isn't in alphabetical order. How could we use this as a Membership Roster in random order?

The transactions download option isn't much better, because the typos can't get fixed by the admins, we'd have to ask customer support to fix every transaction typo to get the transactions report to match the member profiles which have been updated since the transactions went in.

Can MemberHub add a PTA member Yes/No column and Member Type column to the People Export CSV file? (ADMIN CONSOLE > PEOPLE > Export People button)

Do Custom Fields appear in the Export People CSV file? (ADMIN CONSOLE > SETTINGS > Custom Fields)

    Thank you,

    Nissa.

Hi Helen, will the custom fields be an option to include in the directory printing & exports in the future? I'm using a custom field to record staff titles, but they don't show up anywhere, except when I click to see a person's full detail. We really need to see more info in member lists, other than just a persons name & have the option to sort & search by other fields too. A toggle on custom fields to show in the list & be included in exports/printouts would be nice.

We are used to having a printable directory that groups & sorts by hubs, for example, a list of all people in the 'faculty & staff' hub grouped by its child hubs. Another example would be exporting or printing a directory listing of students with or without parents, sorted & grouped by their grade level hubs & child classroom hubs. I hope this is something in progress as it will make a huge difference in usability. At least if we could get an option to print the directory in hub-tree-layout format, that would be a start. I understand this would only print the hubs that each person has access to, which is great.

    Thanks for the feedback Julie!

Here are a few tips to use as we build more enhancements:

Custom fields do show up on the people export. There is a column which shows the custom field data if there is any associated with that profile. When you export the school directory there are a lot of different tabs along the bottom breaking down different groups in the school.

You can filter by tags on profiles. For example, I created a tag for committee chairs. I tagged myself and then in the People tab I can now see filter by on the right includes Committee Chairs tag. When I click on that it lists the committee chairs.
