Hi Janna and Sonya. Thank you for the feedback.

Since Join Hubs is generally only used for PTA committees that was the thinking behind just having them listed alphabetically as they likely all fall under the same parent hub. Once you join an open hub it will show it under its parent hub in Your Hubs as you mentioned.

I will pass the feedback along to the development team to perhaps have different views on the Join Hubs page.

    Thanks!

I agree this would be a great option.  I'm noticing that since hubs are listed alphabetically now, the only way to have them sort in hierarchy order would be to have the parent hub in the beginning of the child hub name. This could create VERY LONG hub names.

"Join Hubs" is not just used for PTA committees....as people representing MemberHub have told me several times, it's for ALL people associated with a school.

For instance, we have been telling people to make sure they set up their MemberHub profiles, and then click "Join Hubs" to join their classroom-specific hubs for each student, join any open hubs for large-scale school events or programs, etc.

Heirarchy order for Join Hubs would make so much more sense for people with students in say, 1st grade...because then they would see 1st Grade as the parent, then the listing of Mrs. XYZ's Class below it, so they are sure to sign up for BOTH. As it is now, I could see someone just skimming, seeing 1st Grade and joining that, but NOT scrolling down to the bottom of the page to also join Mrs. XYZ's class.

Sorry Rhonda. My answer was a little confusing. Yes, everyone can use MemberHub. The Join Hubs feature has generally been used to encourage people to sign up for committees which are usually managed by the PTA.

However, I understand more schools are allowing their school families to select which classroom hub they would like to join as opposed to a site/hub admin entering member information into hubs.

I will pass this feedback along and in the meantime perhaps you could suggest people use their browsers search function or ctrl f to located their hubs.
