Once you invite a business to give-backs the follow steps happen on the MemberHub side:
- Every local business that you recommend that includes an owners’ name and email address is immediately contacted, indicating that your PTA has invited them to participate in the program.
- If we have not received any response to the initial invite within 48 hours, our team will reach out again to the local business via email or phone.
- We continue reaching out to the local business periodically over the next 2-4 weeks to schedule a time to explain the program and work with them to create offers for your PTA.
- If there is no response after multiple contact attempts over a 3-week period, we classify the business as “un-responsive” and archive them for future outreach.
- If a business unsubscribes to our email or indicates they are not interested in Givebacks, we classify this business as “Uninterested”.
Once a business does engage and they are interested, it can take up to 2-4 weeks to get an offer(s) finalized, approved, and available to your PTA. Once that happens, you will be notified by a MemberHub representative and your referral fee will be deposited into your Stripe Account. We make getting an offer set up as easy as possible for the local business, but the ability for a local business to respond in a timely manner to our communications varies considerably.
As you know, now is a particularly challenging time for local businesses and as a result we are seeing a longer than expected response time, as many businesses are either still closed or are in the process of reopening. Please feel free to follow up with the business contact, as well. We usually see faster turnaround times when PTAs reach out separately in addition to our communication.
Rest assured we are actively reaching out to the businesses that you provided us contact info for. You will be notified as soon as an offer is available for you to add to your store. You will also be notified when we have features available that will allow you to see the status of your referrals.
