At the end of the manual payment process it said you would receive two micro deposits (deposits that are random amounts less than $1.00) into your account in 1-2 business days. You are supposed to be paying, not receiving money! Yes, but don’t worry, it’s standard practice and there to protect you! The micro deposits are there to ensure the account you are paying from is yours. In the age of typos and the ever embarrassing auto-correct, an extra layer of security is important to protect everyone’s accounts.
When you made the payment you received an email with the subject line: Your micro deposits are on the way! Inside the email there will be a link to where you enter the amount of the micro deposits. Be sure to check the account daily until the deposits show up to confirm the payment. After the payment is confirmed, the payment to state will process.
