Here is a list of common questions that state leaders might have. We will continue to add to this list.
With the release of MH21, will I still need my WePay account to collect state dues payments from local units?
MH21 uses Stripe instead of WePay to process the dues payments you will receive via ACH from local units. In order to begin accepting State dues payments electronically, you will need to set up your Stripe account for your store in your State PTA site. It is recommended that you leave your WePay account open up to 60 days after the last transaction and then you can close. When you are ready to close your WePay account, you can find a tutorial here.
What if I already have a Stripe account set up for my State PTA Store?
If you are currently using your store for your State PTA site (NOT your At Large PTA site), you are all set and do not need to take any further action to begin receiving state dues payments. If you are only using your At Large PTA MemberHub store, you will need to set up a Stripe account in your State PTA site. Be sure to set this up with a different email than your existing Stripe account with the same banking information.
How can I get our compliance procedures updated now that MemberHub provides Compliance Document Storage?
With the update of MH21, local units have the ability to submit compliance documentation directly through MemberHub. This allows you to have all of your documentation within MemberHub without requiring local units to upload to a DropBox, email, or even upload to a Compliance Hub. If you would like to have this implemented in your compliance settings, email support@memberhub.com to get your site updated.
We have been using Compliance Hubs within MemberHub for our local units to upload compliance documentation. What happens to all of our files that are currently in these hubs?
All files stored in all hubs have been transferred over to MH21 within the same hubs. All files are still there. You may continue using these compliance hubs for your local units or you can have them upload their files into the Compliance Document Storage instead. Email support@memberhub.com if you would like to update this in your site.
How can I move a local unit out of a region/district/council that they do not belong in?
Visit Compliance Manager and then click the Units button. Search for the unit and then click on the Unit to select and view the unit. In the Unit Details, click Change Parent button. Select the correct unit that this region/district or council unit that this unit belongs to. Scroll to the bottom of the unit data and click Save. This will update the heirarchy accordingly. If you do NOT see the field value in question (like you don't see a specific Council unit in the list) please submit a new request and we'll get you squared away.
Can we delete a unit that has never used their MemberHub?
Yes. If the unit has never used MemberHub and you want to remove their site, you can archive the site. From the Compliance Manager, click Units. You can search for the unit from the list and then click on the unit to view their information. From this screen, click the Archive link to archive the unit.
What happens to a unit that disbands but has records in MemberHub--is there a way to archive them?
Yes. Same as above.
Also, if a unit restores good standing again and needs to be unarchived, you can do this as well. From the Compliance Manager>Units, Filter the list to show archived units and then click on the unit you wish to unarchive. Click Unarchive.
